Voice Message Reader · Last updated October 3, 2026

Voice Message Reader ("the app") is built so that your messages stay yours. We do not run any servers, we do not create accounts, and we do not collect, store or sell any personal data.

Audio and transcriptions

Audio you share or record is converted to text using Apple's speech recognition. When your language supports on-device recognition, all processing happens on your iPhone. For some languages, Apple's speech recognition may send audio to Apple to complete the transcription, under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer never receives your audio or text.

Transcriptions, summaries and translations are saved only on your device, inside the app. Deleting a transcription or the app removes them.

Summaries and translation

Summaries and suggested replies use Apple Intelligence on supported devices, or a built-in on-device method. Translation uses Apple's Translation framework. These features run on your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
